Habit 1:  Be Proactive "Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seat of my destiny, not just a passenger." The first habit of highly effective people is to be proactive. Being proactive is being the one who initiaties change and progress instead of going with the flow and waiting for it to happen. I can definitely see how being proactive helps someone be more effective. If you just sit around and wait for things to happen you move at the pace of the world. Electric cars have been around for decades. However with the recent success of the electric car company, Tesla. Many ancient companies like General Motors are making the switch to all electric cars. They pass it off as caring for the environment but the CEO's just want even more money and thats where the big money will be in a few years. This demonstrates the greatness of Elon Musk, he ventured into the electric car industry because he thought someone needed to show these apes that money can be made off electric cars. That is why it is important to drive an electric car so that the planet will not become more pollouted than the last 200 years have screwed it up. Because it is certain that climate change is definitley real and isn't a hoax that many people believe it to be. It is a very real problem.
